【香港浸會大學支援大埔火災受影響師生之安排】
昨天大埔宏福苑發生五級嚴重火警,導致慘重傷亡。本校師生仝仁無不深為之哀傷痛心。香港浸會大學全體成員,向罹難者致以最沉痛哀悼,向其家屬與受災居民致以最深切的慰問,並向不眠不休參與救援的消防、醫護及各應急人員致以最誠摯的敬意。
此刻,全港同慟,傷痛難言。面對這艱難時刻,學校呼籲全體師生及校友彼此守望、相互扶持,並盼望社會各界同心協力,支援災區居民及其家屬,共渡難關。
學生與教職員的福祉始終是本校的首要關懷,凡居於宏福苑或受是次事件影響者,請盡快聯絡大學相關部門以尋求協助:

即日起,學生事務處及文學及社會科學院已於李作權大道設置支援攤位,提供即時情緒支援與輔導服務,有需要者請前往尋求協助。
為表達深切哀悼與尊重,香港浸會大學即日起暫停社交平台的一切宣傳活動,待情勢穩定後再行更新。

【United in Grief: Compassion and Support Following the Tai Po Fire】
HKBU Support Measures for Faculty and Students Affected by the Tai Po Fire
Hong Kong Baptist University expresses its deepest sorrow over the devastating five-alarm fire at Wang Fuk Court in Tai Po yesterday, which has resulted in tragic loss of life and injuries. The entire University community is profoundly saddened by this tragedy. On behalf of all members of Hong Kong Baptist University, we extend our heartfelt condolences to the victims and their families, our deepest sympathies to the affected residents, and our sincerest respect to the firefighters, medical staff, and emergency personnel for their tireless and selfless efforts.
In this time of shared grief, the University calls on students, staff, and alumni to stand together in compassion and support. The well-being of our students and staff remains our top priority. To support those impacted, the University has arranged the following services:
• Counselling Support for Students: Students may contact the Counselling and Development Centre at 3411 7435.
• Counselling Support for Staff: Staff members may access the Employee Assistance Programme through the Hong Kong Christian Service at 2721 3939.
• On-Site Emotional Support: Support booths are now available along Li Promenade, jointly organised by the Office of Student Affairs and the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, to provide immediate emotional support and counselling services.
As a mark of deep mourning and respect, the University will suspend all promotional activities on its social media platforms until further notice.
May those who lost their lives rest in peace, may the injured recover swiftly, and may Hong Kong find strength and unity to overcome this tragedy together.
