*   “Attained” in Citizenship and Social Development (CSD) will not be included in the admission score calculation. Applicants with Level 2 or above in Liberal Studies subject attained in 2023 or before would be accepted in lieu of CSD for fulfilling the General Entrance Requirements. Following the handling of CSD, results of Liberal Studies subject would not be given any score in score calculation starting from the 2024 entry.

  • The programme considers the best 5 HKDSE subjects, including Chinese Language and English Language in admission score calculation.
  • The following subjects are assigned higher subject weighting:

  • High choice banding in JUPAS application is preferred.
  • For 2024 entry, the HKDSE mean admissions score was 22.81 (with weighting).

Notes for elective subjects:

1.    The first elective must be Category A subjects, excluding M1, M2.

2.    For the second elective, the following subjects will be considered:

  • Category A subjects, including M1, M2
  • Category B subjects: related Applied Learning subjects (with “Attained with Distinction (I) or above. Please Click HERE for details.

Applicants holding qualifications other than Diploma of Secondary Education (HKDSE) Examination or National Joint College Entrance Examination (JEE) may submit their applications via the Non-JUPAS Admissions Scheme. The University adopts a holistic approach in selecting applicants on individual merits. Applicants are required to meet the university entrance requirements (using international curricula or regional/national curricula) and the English language requirements.
